- Wireless charging
- Sleek, stylish design
- Bright LED light
Charging your smartphone doesn't always mean you have to be tied to a cable. With the Qi Universal Wireless Charging Plate, you can wirelessly charge your smartphone. To do so, your smartphone must have a compatible inductive charging case.
The Qi has an ultra-slim design that also looks very stylish too. It measures 7.1 x 4.3 x 0.8-inches (wdh) and weighs 5.3-ounces. It's all white with a blue LED light and turns on when a phone is charging.
To charge your phone, just place it onto the pad and the light will turn on. The wireless induction technology will then quickly charge your phone without any wires. If your phone does not support wireless charging, you have a few options. First, you can buy a microUSB wireless charging adapter. Second, you can buy a case that has supports inductive charging for your phone.
For example, if you have a Samsung Galaxy S4, you can purchase a wireless inductive charging backplate to make it compatible with the Qi.
When your phone is completely charged, the Qi will turn off to not overcharge your device. The LED light will also light up to show your phone is finished charging. We should mention that we found the LED light to be rather bright, so probably not a good idea to put it right next to your bed.
The Qi Universal Wireless Charging Plate is available from MobileFun.com for $45.99.
