The iPhone Dev-Team has released the new version of their redsn0w jailbreak (version 0.8) and it is iPhone 3GS compatible in addition to 3G, original iPhone, and 2nd generation iPod Touch. The Dev-Team is touting that some of the main features of version 0.8 is that it is completely stable and UltraSn0w compatible. UltraSn0w is another hack from the Dev-Team that allows you to carrier unlock your iPhone to let you use a different carriers SIM card besides AT&T in the United States. It also is compatible with the new versions of MobileSubstrate and WinterBoard, which are two programs that come with some neat add-ons and themes for your iPhone/iPod Touch. There are special instructions and conditions to using this jailbreak tool, so make sure you read all the documentation and you can download it from here.
