On June 8th, Apple announced the iPhone 3G S, which is Apple's third generation of its popular cellular device that has sold in the millions of units around the world. On June 19th, the iPhone 3G S will be available for purchase from Apple Stores and AT&T retail stores. Both are also allowing users to pre-order their new iPhone's, but by this time, any new orders show as being "delayed" until at least after June 19th. Some of the new features include extended battery life, more memory, and a few extra features. |

Microsoft recently announced the consumer technical preview (CTP) of Microsoft Office 2010, which was shown to attendees of Microsoft’s TechNet conference. We were able to get our hands on the CTP before its scheduled release date (July 2009) and check it out. They have changed around a few things, especially when it comes to the “ribbon” menu integration across all programs in the suite and a few other features with regards to productivity. |

Microsoft has been vigorously working to make Windows 7 their best operating system yet. One of their primary objectives with Windows 7 was to make it as compatible as possible with all existing devices right out of the box, which was what Vista was given a bad rap for not doing. We installed the Release Candidate of Windows 7 on one of our desktop computers and have test driven it in a production environment. This allowed us to get the most accurate impression of Windows 7 RC as possible because real users will be using it primarily on their home computers and we tested the compatibility of Windows 7 with some hardware and software as well. |
