While rumors have been running wild that Apple will be making a Verizon-compatible iPhone sometime in 2010, one analyst is predicting Apple will instead bring the iPhone to T-Mobile in the U.S. Doug Reid from Thomas Weisel Partners says his firm strongly believes T-Mobile, the other GSM carrier in the United States, will be the lucky carrier to get the iPhone on its network after Apple’s exclusivity contact with AT&T ends. |

| A report published by Consumer Reports said AT&T ranks last among major U.S. wireless service providers, with 19 of 26 surveys indicating AT&T had the worst performance. Subscribers in large markets such as San Francisco and New York City have long complained of lackluster 3G service — though analysts were somewhat surprised to see AT&T ranked last in 17 other cities. In San Francisco, Verizon had a 74 overall score, with AT&T receiving a disappointing score of 39. |

Microsoft has announced they will be releasing the final version of its Office 2010 productivity suite in June 2010. The new Office suite will be available for both Windows & Mac OS X as well, but the Mac release may not come out in June. Office 2010 will be released in six different versions, each coming with its own subset of Office applications. |
